What it does.

InVision Precision LVEF is advanced image post-processing analysis software designed to aid diagnostic review, analysis, and reporting of echocardiographic DICOM images for cardiac function. It provides automated, reproducible left ventricular ejection fraction measurements for adult patients, supporting qualified medical professionals in clinical decision-making.

The model builds on foundational video AI research first published in Nature in 2020 (EchoNet-Dynamic), and it remains the only AI echo product to have undergone blinded, randomized prospective clinical trial evaluation — results published in Nature in 2023. In that trial, cardiologists made fewer substantial corrections to AI-produced initial assessments than to those from sonographers, and the AI-guided workflow saved time for both groups.

Precision LVEF is trained with more echocardiographic videos than any other FDA-cleared echocardiography AI model. It integrates into existing echo lab workflows through standard DICOM post-processing — no new hardware, no changes to scanners, and no disruption to the sonographer or cardiologist experience.
